Animal Poses Yoga
Animal Pose Yoga are yoga asanas which imitate animal poses. In the past, animals were observed in nature as they have abilities to persist to illness and pains. Animal poses were designed to stretch your spine and muscles such as back, thigh, upper arms and bottom, for example, Yoga Dog Pose and Yoga Cat Pose. Some are for massaging intra abdominal organ and for relaxation.
When a dog feels stiff, it does this pose to relax its back. Yoga Dog Pose is one of the poses in the traditional Sun Salutation sequence.
Yoga Cat Pose is a basic yoga pose before processing other poses. It improves flexibility of your spine, relieves your shoulders’ tension and exercises your neck muscles.
This pose is for exercising lower back muscles, massaging intra-abdominal organs and stimulating excretion system.
Kurmasana is called turtle pose as it imitates a turtle pulling its head into its shell. Turtle pose is a useful posture to reduce your fat in your belly and hips.
Yoga Pigeon Pose stretches the thighs, groins, back, and opens the chest and shoulders. It reduces stiffness and increases flexibility. The full pose is suitable for intermediate yoga practitioners.

Yoga Lion Pose is a great exercise for your face muscles and neck. It also heals sore throat symptom. In Sanskrit, Simha means a lion or power. The posture looks like a roaring lion.
