Corpse Yoga Pose (Savasana)

Corpse Yoga Pose is usually performed at the end of yoga session. It allows the body to relax; relieves fatigue and tension. The pose helps your mind relaxed and stable, preparing you for meditation.

Benefits

Instructions

1. Lie down on your back, place your arms alongside but slightly separated from the body with palm facing up. Your feet fall out either side. Close your eyes. Breathe slowly and relax the whole body by starting with the head, face, shoulders, arms, stomach, legs and feet.

2. Stay in the position for 5 minutes. To exit the position, turn your body to the right and stay in the position a few moments. When you feel ready, use your hands to slowly push yourself into a sitting position.
