Sitting Yoga Poses

Sitting yoga poses are the basic postures to prepare your body before processing other pose groups. Some of these poses are designed for meditation. Sitting poses help extend your spine, ankle and knee muscles.

Yoga Easy Pose image

1. Yoga Easy Pose (Sukhasana)

Yoga Easy Pose is one of the classic meditative poses. It is usually performed after doing the Corpse Pose. The pose straightens the spine, slows down metabolism, encourages inner tranquility, and keeps your mind stable.

Lotus Yoga Pose requires crossing the legs while maintaining a straight back. This posture is usually done in meditation and concentration.
