Yoga Eagle Pose (Garudasana)

Yoga Eagle Pose improves your balance and stretches your upper back, shoulders and outer thighs. It stretches and tones muscles of the leg and can help relieve cramps of the legs.

Instructions

1. Stand in Mountain Pose. Then draw your left foot upward while bending the right knee and bind the left foot around your right leg. Your left thigh rests on the right thigh. Also, bind your arms left over right. Let your fingers point to the ceiling. Breath in and out deeply. Stay in this position for 5-10 breath rounds or as long as comfortable. Then do the same with the right leg.
