Yoga Poses to Tighten Chest
Chest muscle consists of two components, pectoralis major and pectoralis minor. Pectoral major lies on the top the rib cages and pectoral minor is under the pectoral major. The main function of pectoral muscles is to adduct the arms, pulling them down and in towards the body.
Here are some recommended yoga poses which can tighten the chest.
Lord of dance pose improves your sense of balance and concentration. It Eases your strain caused by poor posture of daily activities. The pose helps open the chest while you stretching the arm forward and the other one grasping the lifted up foot backward.
Yoga Warrior Pose series strengthen the legs, opens the hips and chest and stretch the arms and legs. They also improve your balance and concentration.
Cobra Yoga Pose stretches chest and lungs, shoulders, and abdomen. It increases body heat, destroys disease, and awakens kundalini.
The Bow Yoga Pose expands the chest, mobilizes the entire spinal column. It is a good exercise to improve posture and strengthen the back muscles.
